We came a little short on our goal for the National Ovarian Cancer Walk

As I said when I started the journey of wanting to contribute to those in need,
The National Ovarian Cancer walk is one I try hit a goal and as promised......good or not, I said I would post our results as far as sales went from Serendipities Closet.



I know we are a new boutique and I am trying everything I can to show we are trust worthy and that our items are reasonably prices and trendy in today's fashions BUT we were not able to contribute from the sales of the store.  I am not sure what people look for when ordering on-line but I am being completely honest here!

I was able to raise $195 from a few friends and family that wanted to help and I am going to be trying other new avenues to get shoppers but as I posted in my blog a few weeks ago, I was hoping someone can please tell me what is it that you are seeking when shopping online?

I sometimes wonder if people realize the cost involved with selling online.  Many times we forget that there are monthly hosting fees, credit cards fees, packaging fees and for my auction site there monthly store fee and final value fees.





I will not give up because I have a few more charities I give to and I usually do not ask for help but hope to be able to again offer a percentage out of each sale for my largest fundraiser and that is come
the holiday season for the homeless.

This will be my third year giving to those that are in really in need of just a warm smile and some helpful items to get through some cold winter days.
 






So again, I ask you......what is it that you are seeking when shopping online so I know how to prove we are a honest business who not only cares about our customers being happy but helping those that really need an extra hand.





I truly hope I get to know some of you as customers who will one day be a friend but I can't do that without your help telling me what you seek when shopping on-line?
